The headquarters of Ferruz Industrial Group, located in Zaragoza’s PTR industrial park, recently hosted the Innovation Day organized by the Aragonese Cluster of Agricultural and Livestock Production Means (CAMPAG), of which we are an active member.
The event aimed to strengthen the value chain, foster the exchange of best practices, and generate new synergies to address the main challenges facing the agro-industrial sector in Aragón (northeastern region of Spain). It also provided attendees with a close-up view of our company, which, with over 70 years of experience, has established itself as one of Spain’s leading industrial benchmarks in agricultural and industrial machinery. Particularly noteworthy was the fact that Grupo Industrial Ferruz is currently the only manufacturer of agricultural axles in Spain — a clear testament to our high level of technical specialization and strategic market positioning. Other defining characteristics of our company were also highlighted, such as our commitment to internationalization, customization, and strong roots in our place of origin, Aragón.
CAMPAG members had the opportunity to learn how we comprehensively manage all stages of the production process — cutting, machining, welding, treatment, assembly, and dispatch — enabling us to deliver tailor-made solutions that meet the specific needs of each customer, an approach we proudly summarize with the motto: “we manufacture what you need.”
During the session, CAMPAG also presented its main strategic lines for the second half of the year, with a particular focus on technical seminars and collaborative projects. Within this context, two newly approved innovation projects were announced: FERTINITRO and GO SOILCOMPOST AP, aimed respectively at developing more efficient fertilizers and a fertilizer spreader incorporating precision agriculture technologies.
CAMPAG currently brings together 82 companies and organizations representing the entire agro-industrial value chain in Aragón. These include manufacturers of agricultural machinery, component suppliers, fertilizer producers, livestock facility providers, irrigation system companies, service providers, as well as technological and research centers — ensuring a comprehensive and cross-sectoral view of the ecosystem. Since its foundation in 2017, the cluster has been actively working to strengthen Aragón’s agro-industrial ecosystem through business collaboration, innovation, and the development of projects with real impact.
Events like the one held at our facilities underscore the value of cooperation, shared knowledge, and networking as key tools for accelerating the transformation of Aragón’s agricultural sector and positioning it as a national leader in innovation. We were delighted to serve as hosts for this important gathering.
