The urban solid waste collector manufactured by the Ferruz Industrial Group in its facilities in Zaragoza is one of the outstanding pieces of the exhibition “30 years promoting design in Aragon” that can be seen until March 13 at the headquarters of the Aragonese Institute of Contemporary Art and Culture Pablo Serrano of the Aragonese capital.
The exhibition, promoted by the Department of Industry, Competitiveness and Business Development of the Government of Aragon through the Aragonese Center for Industrial Design (CADI) gathers a selection of success stories featuring industrial pieces that today compete with solvency in national markets and international and in which the design was taken into account from the moment of its conception. Among them is the urban solid waste collector of our company, in whose development both the company and the Technological Institute of Aragón (Itainnova) or the Línea Diseño study participated.
The work focused on achieving a product that, being functional, would stand out for having a differentiated and well-cared aesthetic, as well as for being able to be industrially manufactured with the highest quality. The final design came up with a set that presents elegant curves and that also harmoniously integrates all the elements, from the pieces such as the box, the door or the hopper to the possible brand applications abroad. Undoubtedly good news for the Ferruz Industrial Group and one more recognition for its side loader collectors and compactors, which are characterized by incorporating state-of-the-art technology and their own patents that make them effective, versatile and sustainable from an environmental point of view. and energy, as more and more municipalities and entities verify every day.
